Google Maps has accepted a complaint filed by Javier Moreno , a Cuenca user, and has corrected a common mistake for non-residents in the city. Finally the Hanging Houses are nominated on the platform with the correct name and not with the usual Hanging Houses, according to Europa Press.

In this way Google Maps places the correct nomenclature in one of the largest architectural emblems of Cuenca and leaves behind a nomination that, although it is used by mistake by most visitors, is incorrect.

Not surprisingly, the Hanging Houses, dating back to the fifteenth century, are the most visited place in the city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, next to the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art , which alone justifies the trip, with works from Millares, Tapies, Zóbel, Chirino, Saura, Chillida, Oteiza ... Of course, every tourist wants to approach the famous balconies of weightless weightlessness, turned into a real icon.

View of the emblematic houses of the city.

Not surprisingly, the old city stands on top of the rocky bastion that the Huécar and Júcar rivers excavated. The hamlet looks like this over the cliff. Already at the top, it is convenient to look around the deep sickles, a spectacle of nature.

So are the Hanging Houses. And so, with this name, Google Maps will already be reflected. It was on January 14 when Javier Moreno, more than fed up with the error, edited the name on the digital platform, and on Tuesday he was finally notified that the error had been corrected.
