The patient’s husband told “Emirates Today” the story of his wife’s suffering, saying: “Two weeks ago we decided to go for a walk to one of the parks in Al Ain, and when we arrived at the specified location my wife went to one of the nearby places, and at that moment we heard her screaming, and my children and I rushed to her We found her lying on the ground. ”
The husband continued: “We were very afraid of her, because she screamed and cried loudly, so she took her to Al-Ain Governmental Hospital, so she was referred to the emergency department, and she was given some painkillers to control the pain, and she informed the doctor on duty about her condition, and he asked us immediately to perform tests and CT scans on Hand, to check that she did not suffer any damage ».
He added: "We conducted all the exams and CT scans requested by the doctor, and the rays indicated that she had a fracture in her right hand, and she must immediately perform the necessary treatment for her."
He said: "Some iron braces were put in and her hand was forced, and my wife stayed a whole day in the hospital under observation, until her health condition stabilized, as she was suffering from severe pain."
He continued: «The next day the doctor allowed her to leave, after checking on her health condition, and the cost of her treatment in the hospital reached 6300 dirhams, and here the problem started, as I was unable to manage the cost of the treatment or a small part of it.»
He added: “My circumstances and financial means are modest, and do not allow me to manage the amount I owe in the hospital, especially as I am the sole breadwinner for my family of four individuals, and I worked in a private company, and because of the company’s loss and bankruptcy my services were terminated, and the family has no source of income.”
He said: “Currently, I stand unable to pay the bill for my wife’s treatment in Al Ain Governmental Hospital, and I do not know what to do in the difficult circumstances that I am ordering.” He appealed to the people of good and merciful hearts to help him pay the hospital bill.
