Taylor Swift revealed that her mother, who has been fighting for a year against a recurrence of breast cancer originally diagnosed in 2015, is now facing a brain tumor. Speaking to Variety , the singer revealed that the disease was discovered during chemotherapy endured by Andrea Swift, and that she had to face new symptoms.
“The symptoms experienced by someone with a brain tumor have nothing to do with what we have experienced with their cancer. It is very hard for all of us, ”she added.
No tour
This is why Taylor Swift has chosen to limit her live appearances this year, instead of going on a world tour for her album Lover , released at the end of 2019. She will be content with a few dates in the United States, Europe and America from South.
“This is the year I have to be there for my family. There are a lot of questions, so I have to be sure I can come home, ”she told Billboard.
