The French website «Le Parisien» clarified that the Paris Court of Appeal overturned the decision issued by the investigating judge last April, reclassifying the incident as sexual assault and violence, so that it was decided to refer the owner of the song «Teacher» to the criminal chamber of the Court of Appeal.
"We are satisfied with this decision," the French newspaper quoted victim's lawyer, Laura Priolle, 23, as saying. The investigation room read and analyzed the facts carefully ... and found that rape is considered a crime and the criminal court is the specialist in similar cases.
The French judiciary had charged with rape merely in October 2016, after Laura accused him of trying to rape her inside a hotel in the French capital, Paris, before a concert he was going to hold in the city.
