The 40th anniversary commemorative ceremony for the establishment of a national facility that provides comprehensive services from medical care for persons with disabilities to vocational training was held with the Majesties the Emperor and Empress.

The two Majesty arrived at the National Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled at Tokorozawa, Saitama, just after 2:00 pm.

This facility is the only facility in the country that consistently conducts medical care for persons with disabilities and training for employment, and last year celebrated its 40th anniversary last year.
