The mayor of the Italian town of Pisaka decided to offer the village houses for sale for only one euro, in exchange for a condition that requires home buyers to live and engage in the local community, according to the British "Mirror" website.

The home owner must also make all repairs or repairs that the home may require.

The idea behind the homes being offered for sale is to breathe life into the small village that has become almost empty, despite its richness in restaurants and shops.

The village has a population of 5,000 people as a result of migration and the earthquake that struck it in 1980.

Currently 90 homes are available for sale.
