The series of paintings by Svetlana Druzhinina on midshipmen of the 18th century brought all-Union popularity to the artist, and the series “Hearts of Three”, “Secrets of Palace Coups” and “Queen Margot” consolidated the success of the viewer. For an almost forty-five-year film career, Kharatyan starred in more than 100 projects, and in 2007 he was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia.
