Netflix released an exclusive short film by David Lynch on Monday. What did Jack do? , lasting 17 minutes, was written, directed and performed by David Lynch. It was filmed in 2016 and was presented at the Festival of Disruption in New York and at the Cartier Foundation in Paris in November 2017.

The intrigue, a little surreal (as we like), plunges into a locked station where a detective - the filmmaker - questions a monkey suspected of murdering the lover of his beloved, herself a broken-hearted hen. The film ends with a musical number by the monkey.

The famous director of Mulholland Drive was talked about in 2017 with the return of the cult series Twin Peaks , greeted by rave reviews. Should we expect a future partnership between the streaming platform and the genius filmmaker? The mystery is complete.
