The South Korean film Parasite was the first non-English-language film on Monday to win the prize for the best film ensemble during the presentation of the SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild). This category is seen as the most important of the prizes awarded annually by the American trade union for actors.

The SAG Awards give awards for acting performance in both film and television programs. The Crown won the best television drama category, where The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel received the prize for best television comedy.

Joaquin Phoenix a SAG figurine for his lead role in Joker . Renee Zellweger received the same award for her leading role in Judy , while Robert de Niro received an oeuvre prize.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston both won prizes for their acting performance in the film Once upon a time ... in Hollywood and the television drama The Morning Show, respectively . Michelle Williams won the SAG Award for the first time in her seventh nomination with her acting performance in the biographical mini series Fosse / Verdon .
