January 20 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the cult Italian director Federico Fellini. Circus art and graphic skill had a great influence on its formation - for a long time, Fellini worked as a cartoonist. His film career began with writing scripts, including for one of Roberto Rossellini's films. Fellini's first directorial work was greeted with a standing ovation at the festivals, and the films “Nights of Cabiria”, “Rehearsal of the Orchestra”, “Eight and a Half” and “Amarkord” became classics of world cinema and a guideline for subsequent generations of filmmakers. Federico Fellini is the winner of five Oscars and the winner of Cannes and Venice film festivals. And to this day he is considered one of the greatest directors in history.
