One unknown person transported by a house fire Yamanashi Tsuru January 20, 7:16
A fire broke out in a house in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture early in the morning of January 20, four people, including two children, were transported to a hospital and the whereabouts of a woman in her 70s was lost.
At around 2:30 a.m. on the 20th, the fire department was informed that there was a fire from Mr. Shimada's house in Tsuru City.
The fire was almost extinguished after about three hours by the rushing fire, but one wooden two-story house burned.
According to police, there are five people living in this house, Mr. Shimada and her mother in her 70s, and her wife and two children, of whom the mother on the first floor is missing.
Also, four people, including Mr. Shimada, who was sleeping on the second floor, were evacuated to the veranda and rescued and transported to the hospital, but their lives were no different.
The site is about 1 km east of Tsuru City Hall along the Tsuru Bypass. Police and fire departments are searching for Shimada's mother's whereabouts and investigating the cause of the fire.
