Reality TV star Kim Kardashian confirmed that she has successfully completed her first year studying law, as she prepares to show a documentary on her activities to reform the criminal justice system.

"Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project" will be shown for the first time on Oxygen Broadcasting Network on April 5. In the two-hour film, Kim appears in prisons and works with legal experts to discuss four cases of people who believe that their sentences were unfair.

The star is known for developing beauty and fashion products and telling her life with her sisters on the TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." She became interested in criminal justice reform after she helped release two women from prison.

In the new documentary, Kim, 39, was asked about her response to people who say she has become interested in the case with the aim of publicizing the well-known brand that she owns. "I am really focusing on issues and people ... I don't do that for the purpose of advertising because I really care," she added.

She indicated that she persists in studying the law daily with a total of up to 20 hours of study per week, and that she completed her first year in a four-year vocational training program in California. She aims to take the bar exam in 2022.
