Spanish security authorities discovered a "crammed" child behind the front storage box, in a car en route to Spain.

Spanish newspapers said that the place where the boy had hidden was very small and tight, as he had to lie in a "fetal position" and gather his legs throughout the flight, before being discovered by the security forces in Melilla.

A doctor was urgently called, given that the child, whose age has not been revealed, needed urgent recovery and health care.
