Showtime has just announced the end of Shameless. The series will return for an eleventh and final season.
“On the screens this summer, it will be swansong for the Gallagher and their unique blend of love and lust. John Wells and his talented cast promise to blow up everything for the end of Shameless , and knowing the Gallagher as we know them, there is little risk of being bored, "said Gary Levine, entertainment director the chain, in a press release relayed by Deadline.
The actor William H. Macy plays the main character, Frank Gallagher, a father of six as alcoholic and drug addicted as funny and touching.

Showtime and Warner Bros., which produces Shameless , had been in talks for a few months to act on this latest comeback.
