The Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai (Dubai Culture) concluded the activities of the first edition of "Hatta Nights" with great success, as its rich cultural, heritage, artistic and recreational activities, which were hosted by Wadi Hatta Park and its public library, attracted large numbers of visitors who came to it from across the Emirates , During which they had a valuable experience in which they spent time full of interest and pleasure, and lived close to some of the amazing details abounding in the Emirati heritage, which distinguishes his cultural identity and the richness of his values. The cultural celebration, which coincided with the activities of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which celebrates its silver jubilee this year, witnessed a remarkable public response from citizens, residents and visitors, who in a field questionnaire conducted by "Dubai Culture" expressed their spending time full of knowledge and entertainment, which brought happiness to their hearts and the hearts of their children , Through the rich collection of programs and activities abounding in activities.

The results of the questionnaire showed that the percentage of satisfaction and happiness of visitors reached 90%, and with regard to the nationalities that attended "Hatta Nights", the largest percentage was for Arab communities, with attendance rate 62.7%, and non-Arabs attending 37.2%, and citizens attending 14.7%. Although it was limited to 14 days instead of 17 days, due to the instability of the weather in the region, which forced it to suspend its activities in the last three days, “Hatta Cultural Nights” attracted 37 thousand visitors, reflecting the distinguished success that it achieved and works Dubai Culture is currently preparing for the next edition of Hatta Nights, which has reserved a place for it on the agenda of the annual cultural activities of the Emirate of Dubai.

The activities of this cultural demonstration included distinguished folklore shows, presented by Emirati, Arab and international teams, an exhibition of old doors that reflect the aesthetics of the architectural identity of local heritage buildings, exceptional music shows for local and international artists, in addition to allocating a corner to a popular market that presented a unique group of homemade brands overflowing with a fragrant Heritage and its aesthetics, as well as exhibitions of plastic arts, and platforms that presented artworks created by the people of determination. The events also included councils of senior male and female citizens, who delighted visitors "with their own selves", which carried details of the beautiful past, in addition to poetry evenings of Nabati poetry, performed by a group of creative Emirati poets.

The Hatta Library hosted workshops for children that were celebrated with cultural and artistic activities, which include fun handicrafts, such as kite making, the art of cutting and shaping paper, learning coloring methods, and some children's songs.

The establishment of “Hatta Cultural Nights” came to coincide with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to bring about comprehensive development in the Hatta region, and enrich the cultural and artistic scenes in it, in addition to being in line with the efforts of the Authority aimed at Preserving the national heritage and preserving the cultural heritage.
