Tom Leeb is the son of Michel Leeb, but not only. The 30-year-old artist - he turns 31 on March 21 - will represent France at Eurovision in Rotterdam (Netherlands) in May. If he is still unknown, "his unique grain of voice" has caught the ear of Alexandra Redde-Amiel, the head of the French delegation. "It is modern, universal, charismatic, authentic," she listed in front of a handful of journalists Tuesday evening.
The song he will perform in the contest remains a mystery. What is certain is that she is not on her first album, Recollection , released in October. An opus of 13 titles, in English, pop folk oriented, which he was able to defend on several French stages - including La Maroquinerie in Paris - this fall. Tom Leeb also performed the first part of Sting for two concerts, in Nice and Grenoble, this fall.
