Instagram adds a long-awaited feature

An Instagram update added a feature that was always required in the app, a feature that allows users to share more than one image within stories without the need for external applications.

The new feature comes as an Instagram camera mode, called Layout, and allows up to 6 photos to be shared per screen, to make the story feature more interactive.

It should be noted that this feature is already available in the Instagram application on the operating systems (iOS) and (Android), so if you do not find it available, be sure to update the application first.

Create multi-story stories on Instagram
• Go to the Instagram app on your phone.

• Click on the camera icon in the upper-left corner of the app to start posting a new story.

• Swipe left via Camera options until you find the (Layout) option, click on it.

• Choose the layout you want to use for the Image Collection, where you will find many available formatting options to choose from.

• Take some pictures that you want to include in your story (you can include up to six photos in one story depending on the layout you choose in the previous step).

• Just like regular Instagram stories, you can add other elements like texts, tags, filters, emojis, and more.

• Once you have added what you want to the story, you can press the "Send To" option located in the bottom right of the screen.

It is mentioned that one of the most prominent advantages of stories is the Create Mode feature, which allows Instagram users to share stories without the need for pictures or videos, as it allows writing texts on a colored background, adding stickers, or creating contests.

Steps to share Instagram stories without pictures or video
• Click on the camera icon in the upper-left corner of the app to start posting a new story.

Swipe left via Camera options until you find Create, and then tap it.

• You will see several options, including writing text on a colored background, and ask a question, which allows you to ask a specific question to your followers, in addition to the option of polls, a countdown, and an option to share stories with friends to congratulate on their birthdays, and some options The other.

• Choose the option that suits you, then select the friends you want to share your story with, then click the "Send To" option located in the bottom right of the screen.
