According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, three vessels from the China Coast Guard are sailing offshore of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, just outside of Japan's territorial waters.

As of 9:00 am on March 9, the three vessels are sailing approximately 31 km west of Uotori Island in the Senkaku Islands, and are continuing to warn and monitor the Japan Coast Guard headquarters to keep them away from territorial waters.
