Former President of Apparel Re-arrested Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Special Investigation Division Third Judicial Transaction or January 9 16:09

The former president of an apparel company in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, charged with embezzling about 5 million yen in sales, has been re-arrested by the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors' Investigation Division on suspicion that he has also taken about 9 million yen. It is probable that the Special Investigation Department has applied "Judicial Transactions" and is conducting an investigation.

Two people were arrested, including Daisuke Koda, 41, former president of GLAD HAND, an apparel company in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

Former President Koda and others were arrested and charged with arresting about 5 million yen out of the company's sales last month, but the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors' Investigation Division has two other people, about 9 million from last year. He was re-arrested on September 9 for allegedly embezzling the Yen.

Brands handled by the company were gaining popularity mainly among young men, and the life style of former President Koda was featured in magazines and online articles.
Following the case of Nissan's former chairman, Ghosn's case, the Special Investigation Department seems to be conducting an investigation by applying the third case, "Judicial Transaction".

The Special Investigation Department has not disclosed the approval or disapproval of the two.
