The patient’s father narrated the story of his daughter’s suffering with the disease, saying that “Shamma, seven months ago, was suffering from persistent pain in the knee, and the inability to put pressure on her right leg, due to her fall on her knee, when she was riding a bike, and took her to a private hospital in Al Ain, and examined her The doctor, I took some painkillers, then we went home, and the pain continues, until I lost the ability to move, and I became bedridden. ”
He added: "I took her to the emergency department of Tawam Hospital, and she was transferred to the orthopedic department. He added, "My daughter stayed in the hospital for five days, during which she received medical care and attention, and the result of the sample showed that she had bone cancer, so she was transferred to the oncology department at the hospital for appropriate treatment."
The father said: «This matter caused us great sadness for our young daughter, Shamaa, who was exposed to doses of chemotherapy, and her body did not accept the treatment, and we became very afraid of her loss, and the doctor decided to amputate her right leg, to avoid the spread of cancer, and to eliminate the pain she feels, Because analgesics are useless. ”
He pointed out that after the surgery, and her right leg was amputated, her health condition stabilized a little, and the doctor told me that she needs another prosthesis, which costs 35,000 dirhams. "I stand unable to pay even a small portion of the cost, and I am afraid that my daughter will be bedridden, and she is at the age of flowers."
