Chris Hemsworth spent $ 1 million to help his country fight the fires. Australia has been facing bush fires since September. They have already destroyed more than 8 million hectares and 1,500 homes. 500 million animals and 24 people also perished in the flames. An ecological disaster that requires logistics and therefore money to help the firefighters who are on the front line, as well as the associations that take care of the victims, both human and animal.
Chris Hemsworth, who lives in Byron Bay in the east of the country, used his notoriety to encourage his fans to donate too.
