[SBS News] 264th Chun Doo-hwan, followers and trackers

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the May 18 Gwangju Democratic Movement.

On the 12th of last month, new military forces, including Jeon Doo-hwan, the leading 12/12 incidents, gathered in a restaurant in Gangnam to enjoy a luxurious lunch. Chun Doo-hwan, who had been deprived of former president Yeo, was still called to them "Sir."

Who are the people here and why were they gathered on this day?

Lim Han-sol, vice-president of Chun Doo-hwan, became known as the 'Chun Doo-hwan Tracker' by shooting golf rounds and luncheons. Why is he following Chun Doo-hwan?

Recently, however, the followers of Chun Doo-hwan are systematically concealing the truth of May 18 through YouTube. There are also concerns that the fact-finding committee will find it difficult to find out the results because of the political movement ahead of the general election this year. Indeed, who they were and what the task of the May 18 Fact-finding committee had to solve were highlighted.

Roh Jae-heon, the eldest son of former President Roh Tae-woo, visited Gwangju twice in August and December last year to comfort the victims of the democratization movement.
