Abu Dhabi Police seized 1.5 tons of drugs, a million and 200,000 narcotic pills over the past year in separate operations that have achieved great success in dealing with the pest and preventing its spread in our society.
The Directorate of Narcotics Control in the Criminal Security Sector of Abu Dhabi Police affirmed its continuous interest in confronting drug traffickers and exposing their methods and pursuing them wherever they are found until they are arrested in order to obtain appropriate punishment for their crimes.

She pointed to the continuous efforts in enhancing preventive awareness by participating in all targeted initiatives, councils, forums, seminars, lectures, workshops, and spreading the security culture among school and university students and all segments of society.
The Drug Enforcement Directorate called on community members to cooperate with the police agencies and report any security information that contributes to the arrest of criminal drug gangs through the Telephone Safety Service 8002626, confirming its interest in immunizing children from falling victim to the drug quagmire.
