An island is a romantic and fantastic series which revisits the myth of the mermaids. An island is hit by an unprecedented shortage of fishing and a series of suspicious deaths. Quiz , a series created for the British channel ITV and the American AMC, will return to the story of the British couple Charles and Diana Ingram, accused of cheating to obtain the million books from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? , the original format of the Who Wants to Be Millions? Adapted from the eponymous play, this miniseries, written by James Graham ( Brexit ), is produced by Stephen Frears ( A Very English Scandal ). In the casting, Estate star Matthew Macfadyen and Emmy-nominated Fleabag escapee Sian Clifford will play the hero couple, while Michael Sheen ( Good Omens ) will host the game show.

La Garçonne , soon on France 2

A dive into the Roaring Twenties expected in 2020. La Garçonne follows the adventures of Louise Kerlac, embodied by Laura Smet, a woman who cross-dresses and takes on the identity of her brother to join the criminal police in Paris in the midst of wars. For this historic mini-series, the daughter of Johnny Hallyday filmed under the camera of the Franco-American director Paolo Barzman ( Sydney Fox, the adventurer, Léa Parker ). The actress gave the reply to Tom Hygreck ( Cassandre, 24 Jours, the truth about the Ilan Halimi affair ) and Grégory Fitoussi.

Omar Sy will play the famous gentleman burglar Arsène Lupine in a series freely adapted from the work of Maurice Leblanc. The actor will be surrounded by other big names in French cinema such as Nicole Garcia, Ludivine Sagnier and Hervé Pierre, member of the Comédie française. Clotilde Hesme (who has already crossed paths with the actor in Chocolat) , Shirine Boutella ( Papicha ) Soufiane Guerrab ( La Vie scolaire ) and Antoine Gouy ( Budapest ) will also be in the credits. Behind the camera, the first three episodes of this series will be signed by Louis Leterrier, the director of another Netflix series, Dark Crystal: Time for Renaissance .
