A New Year's Eve with Soba Made by Yourself Soba Making Experience at Gunma Katashina Village

In order to have the year passed by eating the soba that you smashed yourself, a soba noodle making experience was held in Katashina Village, Gunma Prefecture.

This experience-based meeting was held at a tourist facility called "Michi-no-eki Oze Katashina" in Katashina Village where soba production is thriving, and 13 people, including families with children, participated.

Participants used a wooden stick to thinly spread dough made from local buckwheat while learning from the master buckwheat instructor.
And it was carefully cut to a width of about 5 mm with a special knife.

The soba hit on the 29th is to be brought home and tasted as New Year's soba.

A 10-year-old girl from Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, who tried to make soba noodles, said, "It was difficult, but I was able to stretch the dough well. I want to eat deliciously with the whole family."
