The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office has not charged the acquaintance's man who was arrested for possessing a synthetic drug MDMA with actress Sawajiri Erika.
A 38-year-old man who was an acquaintance and fashion designer last month said that Sawajiri Erika was arrested and charged with possessing MDMA for synthetic drugs last month at his apartment in Meguro-ku, Tokyo. Arrested on the 26th.
The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office had been released on hold on the 17th of this month, but was not charged on the 20th.
Prosecutors have not clarified the reasons for non-prosecution.
