Three people are on board and can no longer communicate with the fishing boat that left the port in Chonan-cho, Chiba Prefecture five days ago, and the Coast Guard is searching for aircraft and patrol boats.

Just after 3:00 pm on the 20th, Katsuyama Fishery Cooperative Association in Chonan-cho, Chiba reported that the ship to which they belong did not come home for fishing.

According to the Chiba Coast Guard, the missing point is that the fishing boat belonging to this fishery association, Sakuei Maru (6.6 tons), left the local Katsuyama fishing port on the evening of this month.

The ship had a 53-year-old man, a 56-year-old man, and a 34-year-old man who lived in Konan-cho, but they are now out of contact.

Sakuei Maru usually fishes goldfish, etc. off the coast of Mikurajima in the Izu Islands, so the Coast Guard continues to search by sending aircraft and patrol boats to the nearby waters.
