Kajsa Ravin will take up the position on March 9, and will then resign from the assignment as cultural director in the Uppsala Region. Previously, she has been Head of Culture and Leisure Administration in Gävle Municipality and has also worked at the State Culture Council.
“Everyone who works in the cultural sector, professionals and nonprofits, notice that we are in a time of major changes. The role of the Cultural Council remains central to the development of arts and cultural life throughout the country, ”Kajsa Ravin said in a press release.
Svante Weyler has been appointed as new Chairman of the Board and Po Tidholm as a new Board Member.
