A four-year-old boy saved his sister's life after learning first aid in kindergarten.

The boy was with his two-year-old sister when he noticed she was suffocating with a coin in their home in Cambridge.

Thanks to the skills he learned, he realized that she was in danger and was able to call his father and get help.

Despite his fear, the child learned that he needed an adult in order to be patted on the back to move the coin in his sister's throat, so he alerted his father.

The child said in a comment on the incident: "I raised her on the back of my sister because I wanted to be okay and I remembered it from my first aid class.
