A car and a large truck collide in a tunnel on Tokushima Road Multiple injuries December 11th 19:25
According to information entered in the Tokushima Prefectural Police Headquarters, at around 5:48 pm, there was a report that there was an accident in the Shinzan tunnel on the Tokushima Expressway in Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture. It means that the trucks collide and multiple people are injured. Currently, the police and the fire department are examining the detailed situation.
As a result of this accident, Tokushima Expressway was closed at 5:56 pm between Ikawa Ikeda Interchange in Tokushima Prefecture and Kawanoe East Junction in Ehime Prefecture.
According to NEXCO West Japan, the Niiyama Tunnel is a one-lane, two-way tunnel with a total length of 890 meters.
