Weather forecasters called December 9 the warmest day in Moscow since the beginning of winter

“On December 9, the air warmed up to +4.4 ° С in the capital, and even at night there was a positive temperature, +2.2 ° С. Thus, the average daily air temperature was +3.4 ° С, which corresponds to October 24. And this is the warmest day of this winter, ”the statement said.

It is specified that the actual air temperature on this day exceeded the usual indicators by 8.2 ° С.

Along with this, it is noted that already in the evening hours of December 11 it will begin to cool.

“In the afternoon, the thermometers will show 0 ... + 2 ° C, and in the evening it will get colder to -1 ...- 3 ° C,” said weather forecasters.

Earlier, the acting head of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, said when the weather in Moscow "will switch to the winter regime."
