More than 80% agree to use a stroller in public transport "Tatami first ride" December 7 21:02

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism conducted a survey on how to use strollers in public transportation. As a result, more than 80% of people thought they would agree to ride on a tatami mat.

This survey was conducted in July by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and 1,000 men and women from their teens to their 80s answered.

According to it, when riding a train or bus, 40.7% responded that they agreed to ride a stroller without folding it, and 41.9% agreed, or 82.6%, especially 10%. From the 20s to the 20s, it exceeded 90% (91.2%).

On the other hand, the opposite (3.4%), or rather the opposite (14.0%), was 17.4% in total, and the main reason was that it was a nuisance to other passengers when it was busy.

A council made up of representatives of the transportation organizations involved in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has compiled a report that strollers can ride public transport without folding, in principle, 5 years ago, so that strollers can be used with confidence in the future. The company will promote the development of an environment that makes it easy for people with children to move around, such as by disseminating the “Stroller Mark” posted on the site.
