A miniature version of the “Year of Zayed Mural” has been implemented, which is currently displayed in the space of the Zayed University Pavilion of Arts, at “Warehouse 48” at Al Serkal Avenue complex in Dubai, in line with the spirit of the union and the state’s 48th National Day celebrations.

This comes after the announcement of the Cultural Office of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, about the transfer of the work offer from the outer wall of the Dubai Ladies Club to the wall of the University of Zayed Campus in Dubai, in the framework of appreciation of the creative women participating in the work, and to stimulate future generations of art students Creative.

The Cultural Office launched the mural last year in honor of the path of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and in conjunction with the anniversary of his assumption - may God have mercy on him - the reins of government on the sixth of August 1966, and implemented a length of 140 meters within the second version of the project Al-Iddar, in which 22 arts students from Zayed University participated, and for a whole year on the outer wall of the Dubai Ladies Club, the work raised four main topics inspired by its legacy and principles: wisdom, respect, sustainability and human development.

For her part, the Director of the Cultural Office of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Al Maha Al Bastaki, expressed her happiness at the echoes and the continuous inspiration that the work brings, as it documents features of the values ​​and legacy of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the successor to all peoples , As a solid basis for shaping their present and bright future.

The Pavilion of the Zayed University’s College of Arts and Creative Industries in the Serkal Avenue complex, which is titled “Zayed University Pavilion of Arts Pavilion”, is the open space for displaying artworks with the participation of female students, graduates and faculty members of the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries, along with exhibition organizers, through Relevant workshops, lectures, seminars and community events.
