His name is Mickaël Lumière, he is 23 years old, that is Grégory Lemarchal's age when he disappeared in 2007. The former candidate of Star Academy had died three years after his victory in the show and a long battle with cystic fibrosis. Mickaël Lumière will play his role in the TV movie that traces his life and should be released in 2020.
An actor still little known
The actor is not yet very famous among the general public: we have seen in series like Plus belle la vie on France 3 or Skam , broadcast on the platform FranceTV Slash. More recently, we've seen it at the movies in The Truth If I Lie, The Beginnings.
The names of the actors who will play the parents of Grégory Lemarchal were unveiled by Puremedias: the mother will be interpreted by Odile Vuillemin ( Profiling, The Innocents ...), and the father by Arnaud Ducret ( Parents instructions, The Profs ...). Grégory's real parents are involved in the project and consulted.

The realization of this biopic was entrusted to Laurent Tuel, who among others directed the film Jean-Philippe with Johnny Hallyday and Fabrice Luchini.
