A group seeking construction of facilities to pass on the Tokyo air raid held a general meeting in Tokyo on the night of the 5th, confirming that signing activities for construction will be strengthened in the future.

This general meeting was held in Toshima-ku, Tokyo, on the night of the 5th by a group seeking to build a metropolitan facility to pass on the Tokyo air raid on March 10, 1945, when 100,000 people died. 40 people participated.

Among them, Minoru Tsukiyama (90) in Koto Ward who lost his mother, brother, sister and sister's family in Tokyo air raid when he was 16 years old, burns his body while hot air and sparks dance. He talked about escaping with his father and miraculously helping him, and living after the war without living and eating.

As a meeting, the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly divided opinions on the contents of this facility, and in light of the fact that there has been virtually no discussion since 1999. We requested construction of the facility and confirmed that we will strengthen signature activities for that purpose.

The sponsoring organization, Mr. Keima Shibata, said, “I want to persistently seek the construction of facilities as a base to pass on peace.”
