The trip, led by the CEO of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center, started from early morning from Mandar Al-Aslab and headed towards a bridges on a previously prepared route. The convoy will travel through the desert valley through Qasr Al Sarab Reserve, passing through the Shah, Thrawaniyah and North Asab areas. Al Dhafra Fort, Al Marzoum and Al Shabika Reserve, Burqin, Northern Razin, Al Haffar Forest, Al Ajban and Saih Al Salm, until the convoy landed in the World Village Heritage Village.The march will last 14 days, covering about 65 kilometers per day, according to weather conditions.

The camel journey in this edition includes participants from the UAE, Germany, France, Britain, China and Albania, and were selected from among the 700 applicants for the trip, based on their commitment to the mandatory training of the manor designated by the Center, in addition to passing all the exams required to participate in this trip.

“I heard about the trip three years ago and I had the idea to join the caravan since then,” said Mariam Mohammed, a UAE participant. “I loved the heritage from a young age, but I only had the chance this year so I decided to participate.”

The center has announced an early launch of the sixth edition of the camel trip, which has been in great demand in the past few years, and applied to register more than 700 people this year, immediately after the trip was announced on the sidelines of the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, last October.

The camel journey is different from the other, and its objectives are to focus on living the real atmosphere and not preparing it from a tourist perspective, and relies on intensive training of participants to professionalize the process of camel rides, and test the capabilities of individual participants, and their determination to take on a new challenge in the vast desert amid rugged roads and sand hills require them Get off and drive the camel to pass it, fitness and high endurance, complete isolation from city life, and adhere to the instructions of the flight leader for up to two weeks, until reaching the final stop.

In the past, the camel journey traveled 700 kilometers in 14 days on camel's back. Participants faced several challenges, riding camels for about 10 hours a day.
