COP25 Coal-like confectionery is 6:17 on December 4th

At the “COP25” venue in Spain, the governments and companies of each country have their own booths, exhibiting events and introducing global warming countermeasures.

Among them, Spanish companies that are developing infrastructure for renewable energy were interested in distributing sweets that looked like coal.

In Spain, if children do bad things, there is a legend that Christmas sweets will arrive from Santa Claus.

Coal-like sweets are made of sugar and colored black, and are sold during Christmas.

The company said that these Spanish customs aimed to raise awareness of global warming countermeasures, such as stopping the use of fossil fuels and promoting the spread of renewable energy.

The man who received the candy said, “Everyone knows in Spain that coal will arrive if you do something bad.”

A woman who is participating in COP as an NPO member said, “I think that the use of coal must be lost, considering future children.”
