Disputes and bickering between life partners are sometimes exacerbated, and may lead to dangerous things, perhaps to crime.

This time the Yorkshire Terrier paid for his life in a dispute between two southern German partners.

A 50-year-old man was suspected of throwing his partner's dog from a window on the third floor of a house near Passau, Bavaria, in southern Germany, police said.

Police said the dog died shortly after falling from his wounds.

Police said the man appeared aggressive during a fight with his partner yesterday. He was not at the scene when the police came.

About three hours after the dog fell, a relative of the man informed the police that three cars parked in front of their farm had been scratched.
