Stormzy wrote in an Instagram post yesterday that the election is the most important of this generation. In the post he urges "every person reading this to go and register". The rapper writes that he himself will vote for Jeremy Corbyn and Labor.
On the same day that Stormzy wrote the post, 150,000 registered for 25 years. Figures show that the number of users on the British government's voter registration site increased from 8,000 to 40,000 around the time Stormzy tweeted, reports The Independent.
