On the occasion of the 48th National Day of the State, Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage hosted Salman Al Suwaidi, the first Emirati television cameraman, during the session organized by the Center on the book prepared by Ali Al Sharif entitled: "Reversal Salmeen".

Salmeen spoke about his beginnings in photography and his work in television, where he documented his lens many important events during his work at Kuwait TV from Dubai, Aramco TV in Dhahran, Abu Dhabi TV and Sharjah TV.

For his part, Al-Sharif, a documentary photographer and collector of pictures related to the UAE and the Arab world, talked about the chance that Salman gathered to see his huge collection of old photographs to begin work on documenting and arranging them. These included pictures of the founding fathers of the federation, pictures of events, places and events, images of Kuwait TV, which was broadcast from Dubai, and dates back to 1969, and pictures of celebrations of holidays and scouts and some areas of old Dubai and the rest of the UAE and friends unharmed.

It is noteworthy that the session was moderated by the head of the National Culture Department at Juma Al Majid Center, and attended by a group of staff of the Center and a number of interested.
