The telecom operator Fi Network announced on Monday that it will "immediately" withdraw its advertising issued in Big Brother, due to the current controversy generated by the alleged case of violation of the Big Brother Revolution 2017 contestant Carlota Prado , by José María Perez

As Fi Network sources have explained to this newspaper, the advertising agreement it had with the Telecinco program began in November and was scheduled for the whole month. Given the new situation created, after the dissemination of a video that shows how the program shows what happened to the affected party, the telecommunications company has decided to withdraw its campaign before it ended, at the end of the month.

The announcement of Fi Network in Big Brother consisted of a banner announcing "Fi Network sponsors this program" just at the end of each advertising cut that introduced the reality in its gala gala on prime time Thursday. On each of the nights this announcement appeared up to eight times, according to Fi Network sources to this newspaper.

In its statement Fi Network stresses that it makes this decision "on a day like today, November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women." The company expresses "its total rejection of any type of sexual abuse or violence, completely disassociating itself from the program and showing its solidarity and support not only to the alleged victim, but to all women who suffer this type of reprehensible and criminal acts."

This Fi Network decision comes after television collaborator Coto Matamoros and former GH contestant Pepe Herrero began a boycott campaign against the program following the alleged violation. The events occurred on November 5, 2017 but have returned to take on news after the digital El Confidencial has published a story in which it shows the images recorded to the young woman in the confessional just moments after the alleged sexual assault while watching the video .
