Michael Jackson's life story goes to Hollywood, with the producer who helped create the famous film, The Bohemian Saga.

Deadline, Variety and the Hollywood Reporter said the producer, Graham King, had acquired rights, including musical rights, from the Jackson Property Foundation to make a film about the life of the star whose legacy is tainted by allegations of child abuse.

The film is expected to shed light on Jackson's journey and star as a child, before becoming a global icon that ended in his death in 2009 at the age of 50, with an overdose of a powerful sleeping drug, weeks before a concert he planned to return to singing.

Deadline said John Logan would write the script. The film's team was not announced or when it was released.
