An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 recorded off the coast of New Zealand

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the quake epicenter was located 50 km northeast of the city of Wakatan.

It is noted that the source of the earthquake lies at a depth of 127 km.

There are no data on injuries and destruction.

Earlier, seismologists recorded an earthquake of magnitude 6.1 off the coast of Indonesia.
