Haruna Kawaguchi November 21 17:15 on behalf of the Taiga drama "Kagari is Coming"
In response to the arrest of actor Sawajiri Erika, Haruna Kawaguchi has been appointed to replace NHK's taiga drama “Kagigaru” broadcast next year.
Erika Sawajiri was arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department on 16th of this month for possessing a synthetic drug MDMA in his home condominium in Tokyo.
Sawajiri is scheduled to appear in NHK ’s TV drama “Kagiga Kuru” to be broadcasted next year as “Kaicho”, the daughter of Michizo Saito and later wife of Nobunaga Oda. However, actress Haruna Kawaguchi was appointed as a substitute for this.
Kawaguchi is 24 years old from Nagasaki Prefecture. After debuting as a magazine model when he was 12 years old, he appeared in numerous TV dramas and movies, including the NHK drama “Cinderella of the Exam” and the movie “Under Meet September Love”.
This is the first time that Kawaguchi's Taiga drama has appeared.
