Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation (DIFF) has announced the celebrations of the 48th UAE National Day, which includes concerts by local and international artists, traditional performances, fireworks and family-friendly activities to celebrate the spirit of the Union.

The city-wide celebrations will reflect the various aspects of the country's development over the years, highlighting the lifestyle, heritage and culture of the UAE and the hospitality of the Emirati people. It will also feature entertainment programs and events that will establish Dubai as a family destination throughout the year.

Concerts

Music lovers can enjoy live entertainment from a number of Emirati stars, such as Balqees, Hussein Al Jasmi, Hamad Al Ameri, Eidah Al Menhali and Mohammed Al Shehhi, as well as Kuwaiti star Issa Al Marzouq, who will perform free concerts in La Mer, Global Village and Al Seef.

Concerts in La Mer: 29 November: Aida El Menhali, 1st of December: Balqees and Issa Al Marzouq, 2nd of December: Hussein Al Jasmi.

The concerts in Seef will be as follows: December 6th: Mohammed Al Shehhi, and in the second global village of December: Hamad Al Ameri, Dubai Festival and Retail Foundation will organize fireworks displays, which will illuminate the sky of Dubai in the colors of the first and second of December. Dubai airport

Dubai Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport will host a number of activities on the occasion of the National Day.The Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan will deliver a speech on tolerance as part of a staff event taking place at Dubai International Airport's Passenger Terminal 3 on November 27. The speech is followed by folkloric performances by Emirati children, among other activities. Bands will perform at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport on December 1st and 2nd, and travelers will receive welcome gifts.

Festival City Mall

On the 48th National Day, Dubai Festival City hosts the Imagine Show, which offers people of different nationalities who consider the UAE as their home. The Dubai Festival City Mall campaign, called Vises of the Nation, invites all shoppers to share their photos via social media, using the #FacesoftheNation tag, to have the chance to be broadcasted at this special show at 8.10pm. . There will also be two spectacular fireworks displays after each Imagine Show, and shoppers will be able to celebrate the UAE's heritage as part of Emirati heritage entertainment.

4 stations and events

National Day celebrations of the UAE will be distributed in selected locations in Dubai and will be large attractions, given the diversity and aesthetics of these events, including:

A spectacular light show at the Burj Khalifa on the occasion of the UAE National Day celebrations. The Dubai Fountain will glow with the special lights that are held daily at 6, 7, 8 and 9 pm.

This exclusive event at the Dubai Mall is part of the celebrations and will include the distribution of flags, scarves and brooches throughout the three days of the event, as well as a traditional band performance on December 2nd.

The rich heritage of the UAE can be viewed through a collection of photos at the Founding Fathers exhibition at the Union Museum, organized by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. The exhibition depicts the history, development and role of the founding fathers of this country and focuses on the most prominent events that led to the establishment of the Union in December 1971.

The 10 Mylar season returns with its second of five races. Participants can choose between three kilometers, five kilometers, 10 kilometers, or 10 miles (16 kilometers) and run in a lively atmosphere, while commenting on the UAE flag on their national costume.
