The noise from the swarm of retired duck nanny Dominique Dutt, which includes about 60 ducks and goose, at the foot of the Pyrenees in southwestern France, does not exceed the acceptable limits, a court in the French town of Dax said.

The court refused to accept the neighbor's complaint of disturbing the ducks, which he said had turned his life into hell.

"I earned the ducks," Dutt told Reuters after the court decision. "I'm very happy that I didn't want to slaughter my duck."

The complaint came from Jar Dot, who moved from the city about a year ago to a place about 50 meters from the duck barn.
