Died writer Igor Sakhnovsky


Russian writer and poet Igor Sakhnovsky died in Yekaterinburg at the age of 62, said his colleague and friend, a member of the Writers' Union of Russia, Yevgeny Kasimov.

“(Igor Sakhnovsky. - RT ) died on Monday morning, he had an aortic rupture,” Kasimova quotes TASS.

Sakhtanovsky was born in 1958 in the city of Orsk, Orenburg Region. His debut as a prose writer took place in 1999 in the magazine New World, where he published the novel The Essential Needs of the Dead.

The books of the member of the Union of Writers of Russia, the author of the works “The Man Who Knew Everything”, “The Conspiracy of Angels”, “Maybe”, were published in Germany, France, England and the Netherlands.

Earlier it became known that the poet, the former chief editor of the magazine "Youth" Valery Dudarev died at the age of 54 years.

In September, the death of the Russian writer Vyacheslav Petsuh at the 73rd year of life was reported.
