Among the 150 films shown during the festival, the American satirical film "Jojo Rabbit" was played in Germany during the Second World War.

The film's protagonist, Johannes "Jojo" Betzler, is a boy whose life turns upside down when he discovers that his mother's (played by Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a Jewish girl in the wind. Jojo, a member of Hitlerjugend, is forced to confront his prejudices.

The film festival's audience favorite goes up in Swedish cinemas in January next year.
