The JR Yamanote Line, which had been suspended due to the construction of a railway line for the opening of Takanawa Gateway Station in the spring of next year, resumed operation after 4 pm, assuming that the construction was completed and safety was confirmed. .

On the JR Yamanote Line, a large-scale track switching work was undertaken between the Shinagawa Station and Tamachi Station in the spring of next year, starting at dawn on the 16th to open the Takanawa Gateway Station.

As a result, the section from Osaki Station, which is about one third of the Yamanote Line, to Ueno Station via Tokyo Station was suspended from the first train, but the construction was completed and safety was confirmed. After a while, we resumed operation on all lines.

From this point on, the Yamanote Line will be operated on a new route that passes through the Takanawa Gateway Station, which is under construction for both the inner and outer circuit lines.

On the other hand, the section between Shinagawa Station and Tamachi Station on the Keihin Tohoku Line continues to be suspended, and operation is scheduled to resume from the first train on the 17th.
