André Hazes does not understand the commotion surrounding his new relationship with Bridget Maasland. He tells that on Friday morning in an interview with Frank Dane on Radio 538.
"The whole of the Netherlands fell", 25-year-old Hazes tells Dane. "I don't get it either. If you fall in love with another woman as a bachelor, I think this should only be awarded to you. The media has twisted it so much that it looks like I cheated on you."
Hazes is particularly concerned about the fact that his child was involved in the news. Weekblad Privé placed a large photo of his young son on their cover on Wednesday, with the headline "Little boy - who will explain this to him?" Hazes is planning to take steps against the magazine. "I was really angry about that." The singer does not specify which steps are possible.
"What a nice woman you are"
"This week was not so nice", says the Leef singer. "But for the rest I feel very happy and happy. She is the female version of me. We have an incredible click. I am happy with her."
The 25-year-old Hazes came in contact with the 45-year-old Maasland when she asked him for tickets for his concert in the Ahoy. "When I got an app with:" Can I have ten? " And that was Bridget. "
Afterwards, Maasland announced that she had enjoyed the show, which, according to Hazes, was followed by "quiet contact". "But at some point I thought: What a nice woman you are. And then I just wanted to see her."
